PROJECT OVERVIEW
This residential project in Nadapuram, Thuneri called for a welcoming front yard transformation that harmonizes with the home's traditional-contemporary Kerala architecture, terracotta tile roofing, and classic padippura entrance gateway.
The challenge was uniting the expansive cobblestone arrival court with intimate courtyard pockets, natural stone stepping paths, and lush perimeter plantings that soften the brick and timber details.
DESIGN APPROACH & GALLERY
We crafted organic black-stone stepping pathways set in red river pebbles and framed by crisp ribbon turf and spherical shrubs. Alongside the terracotta brick courtyard wall, a manicured carpet lawn anchors a sculptural multi-tiered cloud topiary in a bespoke concrete planter, while heliconias, golden cypress, and warm bollard lighting frame the padippura gateway.
THE RESULT
A refined, timeless Kerala front yard that celebrates traditional architectural warmth while delivering clean, low-maintenance modern hardscaping.
